Serving the Community for Over 90 Years

Norris Ward has been operating as a preeminent Hamilton Law Firm since it was founded in 1919. In April 2001 Norris Ward merged with McKinnon & Co and O’Neill Allen, which had been founded in 1956, to form Norris Ward McKinnon. In July 2009, there was a further merger with the longstanding Huntly firm of McDermott & McIntosh.

For over 90 years, we have worked with the people of Hamilton and the greater Waikato to provide innovative legal solutions on a wide range of issues. We know the Waikato through and through. We provide legal services in a local context, based on strong national and international understanding.

Our philosophies on client service and community involvement have been and remain embedded in the culture of the firm.

We pride ourselves on being as visibly active within our community now, as we were when our firm was first founded. Our reputation for excellence has always been our trademark.
